My very first official illustration for Depthcore.
This was for the chapter entitled "Idio."
The concept behind this illustration is about my creative thoughts and how they build up to great structures in my mind.
They are like beautiful old castles, but with giant neon pink flags and flowers hanging out out of the windows.

You know what I was thinking when I first saw this? I was thinking of the character Frollo from The Hunchback of Notredame - Disney movie version. In the end of the movie, he is so consumed by lust, spite and hatred he'd light Paris on fire to find the girl he "loves". To me, the reds look like flames and the architecture churches from Frollo's mind. But hey, that's my interpretation. The concept that you're expressing here is also quite interesting.
